Approximately twenty-five thousand homes in southeastern Queensland woke up lacking electricity on Monday morning after powerful weather events swept through the state, bringing wind gusts topping 109 kilometers per hour.
Large Hailstones and Broad Destruction
Locals witnessed large ice chunks reaching sizes of 7 centimeters in some areas. Meteorological experts announced that different parts across Queensland had been affected by substantial ice precipitation.
