Similar to my relationship with the Rocky series with my dad, the show is deeply meaningful with my mom.
My mother is incredibly important for me — in fact, she's here tonight — making this a major project to me.
I aim to do justice by her and the fans. My mother has looked at a portion of the writing I developed for the reboot. She is enthusiastic.
