Assistance Distribution Seen as Not Enough
Organizations have stepped up shipments of tarpaulins, blankets and garments following the ceasefire commenced, but they stress there is still not enough aid reaching those in need.
"Agencies are operating tirelessly to bring in that aid and to allocate it, but the size of the necessities is so immense that we are faced with thousands of individuals and minors who are genuinely suffering every night," stated one spokesperson.
Long-Term Concerns and Agreement Provisions
The second phase of the agreement includes plans for the reconstruction of Gaza, along with post-war governance, the withdrawal of troops, and other conditions.
Humanitarian organizations have stressed the need for "greater and continuous humanitarian assistance to address immediate and long-term requirements."
The war was triggered by an offensive in October 2023. Following campaigns have caused a high number of fatalities in the region, as per health ministry reports.
