Loyal supporters of the pop star are calling for that a man who jumped a barrier and touched the celebrity during yesterday's Wicked: For Good premiere be taken into custody or expelled from Singapore.

A widely shared video reveals the Australian man pushing past photographers and charging at Grande while the actors walked down a yellow carpet surrounded by fans.

Fellow actress Cynthia Erivo immediately pulled the stunned performer away from Mr Wen, who was seen being escorted out of the gathering by security officers.

Mr Wen stated on Instagram recently that he was "free after being detained", though court documents indicated that he was set to attend court on the next day. It is not clear if he was faced legal action.

Pattern of Event Invasions

This is not an isolated incident for Mr Wen, who calls himself a "Troll Most Hated", has disrupted a performance. His Instagram feed contains recordings of him disrupting other star-studded functions, including rushing the platform at Katy Perry's Sydney show in recently and in a like fashion during The Chainsmokers event in the area last December.

"There needs to be action taken against him as this is obviously a legal violation," wrote an Instagram commenter, in a response to a video Mr Wen uploaded of his actions.

"You've done this repeatedly... how are you not behind bars?" one Instagram user wrote.

Supporters Express Concern Over the Star's Well-being

Numerous fans criticized Mr Wen for "causing further distress" Grande, who had discussed dealing with PTSD after a suicide bomb attack at the conclusion of her 2017 performance in Manchester, killing 22 people and harming many.

"Ariana has been through so many scary things... and at her Manchester concert and you thought it would be fun to jump the barricade?" wrote one more message on Instagram.

A number of supporters also criticised guards at the gathering for not being adequately prepared; while different individuals called for social media platforms to ban Mr Wen's uploads.

Reaction and Event Details

In videos spreading on the internet, Grande looked startled when she was grabbed by the individual. Her cast members Michelle Yeoh and Erivo can be observed comforting her while Mr Wen was removed by security.

Grande has not issued a statement on the incident, and the remaining proceedings proceeded as normal.

Numerous of attendees had congregated in a sea of green and pink at the Wicked: For Good Asia-Pacific premiere in a Singapore mall, including some who had stood in line for as long as a significant duration before it started.

The motion picture, to be released on November 21, is the follow-up of a dual adaptation of the well-known theatrical production Wicked, which revolves around the unlikely relationship between two distinct characters.

The production itself is a spin-off of the 1900 children's novel The Wonderful Wizard of Oz.

Grande, who portrays the benevolent sorceress Glinda, was decked out in a rosé glittering gown at the gathering while Erivo, who plays the villainous character, wore a sleek black dress embroidered with roses.

They were alongside co-star Jeff Goldblum.

The initial film, Wicked, was the most successful movie of 2024 in the UK, and received 10 Academy Award nods, earning two for outstanding attire and artistic direction.
